Magick –

Cloisonne  is an ancient enamel technique dating back to at least 1500 BC.  Shrouded in mystery and considered to be the most intricate and difficult of all jewelry techniques, it is usually referred to as a dying art form.  With the arrival of Magick, the art of cloisonné is neither dead nor dying!

After two decades of exploration, Falcher Fusager has perfected a highly refined, multi-layered version of this ancient technique.  Carefully applying up to 10 layers of enamel, he creates magnificent gem-like hues, wonderfully subtle shadings and great saturation of color.

A native of Denmark, Falcher moved to the USA in 1973.  Here, while working as a street artist, he gradually transformed his artform from miniature painting to cloisonné jewelry .  He is self-taught in all areas of his work.  Today, his children, Jael and Nadia Fusager proudly contribute to his tradition, delivering new visions to the line.

Artist’s Statement:

“Magick jewelry is a reflection of my inner visions.  It continuously interacts with its wearer; expressing and supporting its owner’s sense of beauty and reflecting his or her inner strengths.  As an artist, I strive to express as much beauty and individuality as possible in each piece.
